Automatic overwrite Tape (LT08)

Hello forum!

i am still struggeling to get my following request fixed:

What is my current Situation:

Simple Fullbackup Job fo ONE  Windows Server every Week writing to a Tape Drive = LT08.
this works fine but i have to cleanup my defined volumes after they get full.

capacaty of one backup = 3,8 TB

amount of tapes = 6 (= Pool) (Volume01 ... Volume06)

so i am able to put maximum of 3 backups on each Tape.

i allways put the Tapes into the tapedriv in the same sequence (first volume01 ... then volume02 ... and so on)

after 18 weeks i have to manually delete the volumes due tue the "AutoPrune" does not work and relable it.

What i wanna have:

bareos should overwrite the oldest tape.

here is my pool config :
Pool {
  Name = Full-LTO8
  Pool Type = Backup
  Recycle = yes                       # Bareos can automatically recycle Volumes
  AutoPrune = yes                     # Prune expired volumes
  Volume Retention = 42 days         # How long should the Full Backups be kept? (#06)

what am i doing wrong?

i want to add that i added the parameter in the client configuration (autoprune = "yes") but i as well see in the webinterface that Autoprune is disabeld for the corresponding job!

still no ideas??

Add this two lines:

  Purge Oldest Volume = yes

  Recycle Oldest Volume = yes

With that, it's OK for me

 Recycle Oldest Volume = yes --> allready set in my config

Purge Oldest Volume = yes  --> this parameter was missing ...

added now
