Hi guys, I recently joined a company as a junior and realized that many servers are outdated both the version of their operating system and the main software
In this case it happens to me with the Bareos server. This server is installed in a Debian Jessie and Bareos version is 17.
I would like to know which would be the order of the steps for the procedure. What would be the most secure way? first Bareos and then Debian?
The clients with old versions of Bareos-fd will work equally with the new Bareos-dir?
Thank you very much.
Regards

hello,
we had the same problem here, we upgrade the OS (Debian) first and then Bareos.. so far as I know Bareos 19.2 is only available for Debian Stretch
