docker image barcus/bareos-director isnt working

Hello all,


I tried to setup bareos on docker and it fails:

docker -logs -f bareos_bareos-dir_1


Creation of Bareos MySQL tables succeeded.
find: '/etc/bareos/bareos-dir.d': No such file or directory
18-Aug 03:19 bareos-dir JobId 0: Error: lib/parse_conf.cc:503 Failed to
read config file at the default locations "/etc/bareos/bareos-dir.conf"
(config file path) and "/etc/bareos/bareos-dir.d" (config include
directory).
bareos-dir ERROR TERMINATION
lib/parse_conf.cc:205 Failed to find config filename.

It seems its not really tested.

the alpine image seems to work but there is only v18 available.


Can someone help?

while we have noticed Barcus and really appreciate the work, we haven't
been in contact with the project yet.
Maybe the developer there can help you out.

I would really love to see an "official" dockerized version of at least
the director and the sd as part of the Bareos project, but we don't have
the menpower to pull this off right now.

However, if somebody wants to give it a try, I can provide some guidance.
