Hi all,

does anybody know why the Bareos versions 19.2.8, 18.2.9 and 17.2.10 are not available via the repo (https://download.bareos.org/bareos/release/19.2/) even though they were released on 09.07.2020?

Best regards,
Joe

Hi Olaf,

Thank you for your answer.
At first I thought the same but I have done two minor 19.2 updates (19.2.6 in February and 19.2.7 in April) during the last months which were all available from said mirror.

Best regards,
Joe

Hi Joe,

maybe I can clarify the situation somewhat.
As stated at the top of the Release Notes[1] "the releases of packages
on http://download.bareos.org is limited to the initial versions of a
major release".

However, the releases 19.2.5, 19.2.6 and 19.2.7 contain fixes for
regressions introduced in 19.2 (i.e. #1172, #1175, #1176, #1190 and #1192).
As a result, the company decided to publish these on download.bareos.org
so that an upgrade from 18.2 to 19.2 will not introduce these regressions.

Best Regards,
Andreas
