Hi Everyone!
I've received the following question from a husband and wife:
For me to be able to claim an Australian Aged Pension, I require a payment summary for both our British Pensions.
How can I get this information?
Can anyone help with this?
From comments that I've seen here, I thought that Centrelink knew
more about the UK pensions that people receive than we do. So I'm
surprised that Centrelink are asking for this. I'm still too
young to get a pension, so I have no personal experience.
So could you please let me know what you think is going on.
Thanks
Paul

Hi,
I suggest, depending on their UK pension/s, they contact:
For UK State pension: DWP - https://www.gov.uk/contact-pension-service
DWP do/will provide a letter, detailing (Frozen) payments to be made and from when (e.g. relevant retirement age, based on DOB) for any individual.
For any other pensions (e.g. work superannuation) they’ll need to contact the relevant organization, such any employer for the relevant information on payments and/or tax deducted.
If they have received (and should!) an annual/yearly P60 (UK tax & payments) form that should suffice, but they will need to provide evidence (to Centrelink) on past, & future, payments received.
Hope this information helps.
