No Minister nor even the most members of Parliament are bothered for distress of the people least for the Bank retirees. All memorandum, mails or other communications to these VIPs ultimately thrown into dustbin. Why some members are unnecessarily wasting energy and time at this age? When the Govt.recognised the role of IBA to negotiate and settle the issues of employees and retirees with the unions this will continue till the Govt.decides otherwise.

Both AIBRF and AIBPARC are misleading and diverting retirees' attention from Unions.

AIBPARC is sponsored by AIBOC biggest officers union in Banking Industry which has absolute right to negotiate retirees issues including updation. AIBEA also is the biggest workmen Union having the absolute right to negotiate retirees' issues.

Both SC Jain and KV Acharya are not  probationers to ignore the fact that at present BPS system both AIBOC and AIBEA have to arrive at consensus on formula for updation, load factor, 100% DA factor and present  united strong demand for Upadation before IBA.

But reality is while AIBOC is mum on the issue CHV in a facebook presentation said

1. Talking about Reg 35/1 is ridiculous.

2. Cost factor is to be taken into consideration.

3. Pension improvement can be done only in stages.

So what does AIBOC say?

Sri.K.V.Acharya should meet AIBOC gen sec and demand Updation on RBI updation formula and request him to take a delegation to FM along with AIBPARC.

AIBRF also misleading retirees. In this crucial junction instead of meeting  CHV and discussing updation and demand Updation on RBI formula diverting retirees attention to Exemption of Income Tax and other irrelevant matters.

To save their master unions both retirees are asking pensioners to write letters to FM.

If UFBU had discussed the issue with IBA and reached an agreement and IBA had sent the proposal and the same is pending with FM. then it is apt to write letters to expedite the sanction/approval.

Irrespective of which party FM belongs to, she is not just fM for Bank retirees and she is not sitting in office leisurely to read our letters. Letters are screened by DFS officials and it will not even reach her.

Both AIBRF and AIBPARC should stop this drama and start Dharna before AIBEA nad AIBOC offices and pressure them to take up issue strongly with IBA or take a joint delegation to FM exclusively for updation.

Recently we lost our beloved father who had taken VRS in 2001 from Bank of Baroda. He was getting pension from the bank since day one. We have intimated the pension paying branch for the family pension with the death certificate. My request is to guide us what else do we need to do. Also if someone can provide us what shall be the estimated family pension amount that we should expect that would be great.

Dear Manish Shah,

Regret to hear the sad demise of your father.

1.in order to get Family Pension to spouse, you can get in touch with the pension paying branch of BOB.

2.Original Pension Payment Order provided by bank along with Death certificate has to be produced to the branch.Rest of the things may be done as guided by branch.

3.The family pension is arrived as  30% of last drawn Basic Pay of pensioner plus Dearness Relief as applicable.(Here in this case, it would be of 2001 period)

You please  approach pension receiving for getting family prnsion

  Generally you have to intimate the death of your father to pension branch.  Letter from your mother for family pension

   If your fathers pension pay order contains joint photo need not enclose photos.    Mothers date of birth,  all children S daye ofbirth and if birth certificates are available you enclose.  Fathers death certificate,  seeking family pension by your mother.    Birth date of your mother,  children's birth date to be submitted

  Now family pension is proved.    30% of your fathers basic they will fix basic for f. P.    And d. A.  As applicable to all pensioners.     If your fathers citation recovery is over no problem. For family pensioners upon the death of husband they wont deduct commutation recovery.   Bit see that 1/3 of commutation amount is added to your mothers pension
