Message from UFBU Convenor

Today there was conciliation meeting by CLC. IBA and Dy secry DFS attended. We suggested that if iba can give a firm commitment to resolve the demands within an agreed time limit we may reconsider our agitation. IBA did not agree to  give any such commitment. Hence we are required to go ahead with Our programmes. CLC advised to hold one more conciliation meeting on 23rd.

Sairam,
COMMITMENT
RESOLVE
DEMANDS
AGREED TIME LIMIT.

So
1.what are the demands in clear terms ?
2.What is meant by resolving ?
3.What type of commitment expected ?
4.What is the acceptable/agreed time limit ?

As we are all involved in this ,as pensioners/retirees, we would like to know on the above from the horse mouth, the UFBU and their constituents, and our leaders from AIBRF/ AIBPRA, as we are also advised to support the strike.
When the leader met the FM, Why he could not discuss and settle the issue accross the table.instead of various strike calls and meets with IBA and CLC etc
With regards,

1.UFBU  constituents have not discussed the issue and arrive at consensus on Updation and Formula for Updation and how 100% issue of pre 2002 retirees should be addressed.
2. Cost of Updation depends on Type of Formula.
3. In spite of 100 BPS meetings UFBU never demanded cost details from IBA.
4. In 2016 AIBOC reported that
"IBA informed cost details of 100% DA received from Banks and actuary reported expected with 10-12 days"
AIBOC did not ask for a report from IBA. But promptly at regular intervals informed us we have demanded IBA to obtain actuary report.
5. UFBU did not demand the committee report from IBA
6.  When they have called strike for updation why issue was not raised with FM and request her to issue instructions to IBA to hold talks?
UFBU has zero commitment for updation and 100% DA but without discussion and without arriving at cost UFBU want unconditional commitment from IBA.
A political leader in Delhi is deciding strike actions without aim and purpose.
