I have a doubt if it is in order to post this circular of SBI in this blog in view of what is specifically stated at the top as well as bottom of it. Of course, it might have appeared elsewhere in so many places in social media.

Dear Mr Ramani,

While strictly speaking ,we cannot post many of circulars /letters of any under this forum,though it affect retirees.

Most of them are addressed to specific persons or office bearers of organisations only.

So also, all circulars issued by banks and organisations are meant for its specific group,(employees/retirees)and not for others.

Here the subject matter was in public domain since last few months as well as latest  in Gazette.

More than that, any thing is there as confidential.

More over many SBI retirees are members under this forum who may have benefit on such information.

Let us share information beneficial to retirees.Some may be meant for few and some other for all under this group.

It is s raw deal to SBI pensioners.No benefit to pre 2002 pensioners.Earlier ₹ 8500 ,0r baic monthly average or prorata service divided by 30 was taken and minimum of the three declared as pension.Even 12 months average was calculated while associate banks took 12 months aggregate as 10 months average.Now all removed for SBI.But still SBI is sticking on to old calculations thus depriving benefits to pre2002 retirees. VR
