Ministry of Finance has given direction to CEOs of SBI/Public Sector Banks to initiate the process of negotiation on 12th BPS which is due from 1st November 2022.

Why MOF is not directing them to resolve the issues of retirees?

Why MOF not refering pension updation also specifically along with wage revision.
If banks can not go wage negotiation with out MOF clearence how banks can move for pension uodatiion without MOF clearence?.

If this is a confirmed information, the UFBU is certain to withdraw/ postpone the proposed strike action
on 30 and 31 January. Because the main reasons for the strike call is wage revision and 5 day bank only.
