100% neutralisation of DA tp pensioners

This is to share with all members about the achievement of 

the long pending demand.

It is not out of place to remember at this time the leader 'Shri Debesh Bhattacharya of United Banks Retirees' welfare Assn, who was the 

initiator for this demand and could got it from Kolkata High Court., though

subsequently SC rejected it.

He must be satisfied now that the issue has ended with settlement

though it took a long time.

Let us all convey our thanks and grateful regards to him.

If one has retired between 1998 and 2002 then one has to multiply his/her basic by 5.371 to get revised pension amount for next six months

The calculator works fine. But the cells I24, etc show #NAME?# instead of outputs. 

Perhaps the columns need a little stretching. Please consider and attached a revised one.

The contents of the screenshot you sent for the basic Rs.7,955 and for the related Family Pension are perfectly correct. When tried to open your Excel file, the problem still persists on my PC. I do not know the reason for the malfunction. I fed a different basic. The same thing happened. My other friend also reported to me that it did not open.

Please see the computer screenshots, one with today's time and date.

The easy method is multiply basic pension X 531.76% and we will get the new total pension amount.

For Basic pay 7490 x 531.76%= 39828,82.

Dear Mr JSOMA SEKHARA,

 531.76% is applicable for calculating pension for 7th BPS retirees (excluding ex gratia wherever applicable). I am giving below the list of factors for calculating pension at current applicable rates (Basic+DA  excluding ex gratia applicable to all pensioners) as follows: 

Basic pension x factors = Total Pension. (excluding ex gratia) 

5th - 14.869. 

6th - 7.7655

7th - 5..3176

8th - 3.9664

9th - 3.2665

10th - 2.1450

11th - 1.4424

In the case of 7955 basic, I observed, upto 7th BPS #NAME# appears, and from 8 BPS it gives the correct figures.

Hope it might give some clue to the author to solve the problem.

If you multiply basic with 431.76% you will get Total DA. And then you have to add DA with Basic to arrive at Total Pension.

If you multiply basic with 531,76% you will get Total pension.  But this is for 7th BPS retirees only.

Sri kushal Mukhoti sir has provided factor for all BPS.

You are mistaken. Your percentage factor is for calculating DA only. Mr JSOMA SEKHARA has provided the percentage factor for calculating total of Basic+ DA (without ex gratia) for 7th BPS retirees.
