the value of DR 1 slab is the factor given as per PPO.
the pension payment order speaks of the factor with which
we multiply the number of slabs,
so long I was multiplying the number of slabs with the
D.R. factor as given in the PPO.
It is giving correct value. My basic pension is 7,365.
But the D.A. increase for the half year Feb.2025 as per 7th BPS now is 15.84%
.on increase of 66 slabs.
when multiplied with DR factor in my PPO i.e.13.9587,
66 slabs X 13.9587, it works out as Rs. 921.2742
But whereas for the previous halfyear, the DA @451.92%
on basic pension of 7,365 ,it works out as Rs.33,284,
now as per new revised DR , the percentage of
as 467.76%, it works DRout as Rs. 34,450 increase of
DR of Rs.1,166 (34,450-33,284).
so it gives Rs.921 increase as per DR factor as against the increase(
Rs.1,166 ( basic pension 7,365 X15.84% increase)
Now can anyone give clarification whether the DR factor
as per PPO still holds good or not?
