GOP delegation meets the Finance Minister today, the 17.6.2022.

GOP delegation comprising of S/Sri A Subramaniam, DGM (Retd) & S.Ramnath  ( Hyderabad) called on Hon’ble Finance Minister Ms Nirmala Sitaraman today, Friday the 17th June 2022 at 2.30 PM.  They handed over a representation and also specifically mentioned about 40-50-% issue which is unique to SBI besides others issues like 100% DA Neutralisation & Updation. 

Ms Sitaraman was very categorical that 40-50% issue if brought to hershe wouldn’t take long to approve it. Then Sri Subramanian informed her that SBI Management is reported to have   recommended but DFS feels it can’t be done as the issue is ‘ sub judice’ . Then she said she is not aware of this aspect and if Bank recommends and when it comes to her table she will approve it. She also mentioned that it is not Govt money but it is quote your money.  Unquote .When the Bank's recommendations comes she will approve it. She said that nothing will be kept pending for her approval.

 How can  Very Responsible  and Such A High Position  Govt Authority like  Honourable Finance Minister say  that she is not aware  of   DFS  action of declining recommendation of SBI  Management ?  Is DFS competent enough to take action without their informing  their  Boss ? Does is not require Finance Minister consent ?

Why only reg sbi, u r msging here, why u have not asked pension updation, this group majority wanted pension updation, don't ask other this and if ask, don't post here

Please read carefully the representation submitted to the F.M. by the delegation of GOP (group of pensioners of SBI). Though in their representation mentioned  for SBI Pensioners but the issues also involve the PSU Banks pensioners as the issues raised are similar to the issues affected the PSU Banks retirees.

But we the retirees have reason for concern that the F.M. only made mockeries with the delegation though the F.M. knew well that no Bank can recommend for updation of pension or for solving other issues of the retirees without instruction from the Finance ministry/ DFS. But even then how she stated that in spite of the retirees issues Sub judice if the Banks recommend she will grant the issues within a short time and will not keep pending for long time in her table. If the FM. Indeed wanted to solve the retirees issues Why then she did not grant the updation and other issues during last two years? Finance Minister just made the gimmick as other politicians do.
