It is  learnt that AIRBEA (All India Retired Bank Employees Association)has sometime back got apex courts' Judgement favouring  updation  and it is on hold for implementation  sequel to some administrative impediments
Can this point be cited in the motion hearing of Singla Case as an affidavit as it vouches
favourable disposition of the Apex Court on the issue

Such judgement will not remain un niced. No one is aware of judgement, try to get date of filing case and date of favourable judgement

False rumour.  No judgement  can be kept secret.  As seniors we should  have this basic  knowledge.

Dear mr.Badri
Watch your words before your post.
Information posted by me is not out of thin air.
It is part of other judgements obtained by SBM pensioners Association from SC.
Other issues covered in the judgement as reported are commutation,5 yr notional weightage etc denied to them despite SC verdict and for which thay have filed contempt petition.
Mr.DN prasad their secretary has mentioned about difficulty in  enforcing the updation issue because of consequential  fitment abberation.
I had suggested citing it  in singla case if it can help .
You have questioned my senses whether is in tune
One other person wants copy of judgement from me as if he is legal luminary.
You people may request mr.DN Prasad to spare a copy  or the no if he can, with which you may turn mountains out of molehills
It was just an innocuous suggestion from my side which doesnot deserve response in uncouth language

Dear Sir,

We are expecting some benefits out of this Settlement.  If we do not get, we would get them enforced through pending Contempt Petition.  Hon'ble Supreme Court has since advised us to file an affidavit providing the details of the benefits not paid. Since order for Pension Updation on the lines of RBI is not enforceable we may not push. This is because those who retired earlier will get more pension than those who retired later. For example, one who has retired on 31.10.2022 & one who retired on say 31.03.2023 are getting same pension now.  If RBI formula is adopted, one who retired on 31.10.2022 will get more pension because for him, the load is 10%, whereas the load is less than 4% for one who retired on 31.03.2023. same Settlement cannot give more benefit to one who has retired earlier. This is akin to taking away accrued right and discriminatory. Wait for some time.  We will share all information.

Thanking you,

With regards,

Prasad C N

This is for those who are questioning the bonafdes of my post. Pension updation is one of the items found favour in judgement but not enforceable due to technical flaw,

More details and copy of the judgement may be obtained from Mr Prasad if he deems fit to spare
