Dear Friends,

Latest issue of Shathayu of SBMPC has incorporated views of its office bearers on various major issues confronting bank retirees in general. As usual Mr Prasad has provided detailed views on revision of pension and other pertinent issues where we often found misleading information on the subject by leaders of even retirees organisations or others  in social media or elsewhere without any authenticity or facts.
More over a positive outlook on revision of pension through negotiations in the days to come with possible maximum benefits is the expectation of all pensioners.Let it happen.
All best wishes to SBMPC and their Apex organisation in their future endeavours.
Regards
Mohan.P

Thank you mr.C.N.Prasad for valuable suggestions and  actual information regarding updation.
We fully agree with you.
There are 5 lakhs Bank pensioners  who  want some improvement in pension irrespective of formula. Pre 2002 retirees are  well aware that even if the increase is just 100 Rs IBA will implement the same  from future date. So they are not aiming for the moon but want some improvement early as very few years left in this world.. As pre 2002 retirees are aged above 70 they feel something is better than nothing.  In fact, of late pensioners have forgotten even updating and are after improvement in Ex gratia.  So if some pensioners are  demanding RBI formula it will have no impact on IBA and UFBU as they never give importance to Pensioners opinions.
Forger RBI formula, UFBU has no formula at all for discussion, and are closing BPS meetings by saying sub judice though there is no stay on discussions by any court.
No formula required for Merging DA@8088 points. Why is UFBU not taking up this issue?.
Why were the minutes of March 8 2024 abandoned?
Mr.Prasad please forgive and excuse ignorant pensioners.
As you have good rapport with AIBEA gen sec Sri. Venkata Chalam
We request you to meet him in person and convince him to take up
Merger of DA@8088 points issue, Shifting of base  year for DA calculation, improvement in ex gratia.
No formula is required for these demands, no court case is pending against these issues and cost is minimal. We once again request you to  do the needful.
As there is no convenor of UFBU now it is inevitable that these issues are to   be taken up with unions directly.
This is just a request.
