As an organization they follow these formalities but  is of no use to pensioners. There is no unity among retiree associations, only a lot of ego;

Though we call it partisan, DFS shows favouritism by giving special consideration to the NOBW/NOBO part of Baharathiya Mazdoor Sangh. BMS had a significant role in getting updation for RBI pensioners multiple times. BMS adopts a conciliatory approach compared to UFBU's conflict approach.

Recently they secured on the spot directives from DFS for participating in staff meetings.

BMS also is ready to fight for updation in PSU Banks but there is no cooperation from retiree associations. BMS invited AIBRF to join the united fight for updation but its mentor advised against it.

Each retiree association submits a representation separately, mentioning a list of 10-12 demands.

AIBOA.NOBO.NOBW also submits representations. This does not impress DFS.

 There is no focus on updation.Merger of DA and Uniform DA formula.

 Retiree associations should shed their egos and join with BMS to resolve the three major demands—updation, merger of DA, and a uniform DA formula—as BMS has a better relationship with DFS.

Unfortunately the negotiating unions are dancing to the tunes of their mentors, the political parties. Naturally the two parties with opposite ideologies cannot see eye to eye, which affects the unity. And the sufferers are the poor retirees.

AIBRF is a worthless organization which strictly follow their master CHV's line of harmful thoughts irw Updation Of Pension of bank pensioners & family pensioners , as agreed & introduced in line of RBI , pending for the last three decades .

Unity of thought and action among the retirees organisations is totally absent and they play in to the hands of their mentors who have no concern about pensioners issues.

Up coming Supreme court favourable verdict is only silver line for us.

No use to expect any solution from any organisation.

If BMS has got good access to MOF and getting things done for RBI retirees and have askedAIRBF ( paper tiger) to join why this AirbF is reluctant.

UFBU IS SPLIT

UFBU is no more. 

RIP UFBU. 

Now there are two groups. 

One Pro I.N.D.I.A Bloc.  Consists of  AIBOC. AIBEA. NCBE, BEFI, AIBOA , INBEF And INBOC

Another group, Pro-NDA/Pro-Govt, consists of NOBO and NOBW.

Now INDIA Bloc dictators have removed  NOBO and NOBW from UFBU.

These leaders  have addressed a letter to IBA informing that NOBO and NOBW are not part of UFBU.

Cold war between  AIBEA and NOBO/NOBW is not a secret. Incidents like NOBO complaint to Bank managements against AIBEA for arranging condolence meeting for EX Pakistan president etc.

Only two days back I have posted a mail how these pro govt unions efforts to resolve pensioners issues through BMS was thwarted by AIBRF mentor, Now it is no more secret. 

As issues like updation, Uniform DA, 5 days banking are pending for long NOBO and NOBW requested

BMS to inretefere and take up issues with DFS as it has good relationship with the government

Furthermore, at bank-level meetings between management and employee unions, some large unions formed a cartel, excluding small but recognized unions like NOBO and NOBW.

So BMS met with the FM a week ago and submitted representations demanding participation in bank-level meetings. They also demanded updation, DA merger, a uniform DA formula, five-day banking, and PIL, among other issues. FM on the spot directed officers to resolve the issue and sent a letter to the banks later, allowing all recognized unions to participate in the bank-level meetings.In last 25 years I have not come across a single instance of either AIBEA or AIBOC meeting the FM to request speedy resolution of updation and other issues for retirees.

However NOBO and NOBW  requesting BMS to mediate in resolution of 5 day banking angered the dictators because BMS is a labour wing of the BJP.

Bank employees and retirees are not slaves of any union or leader. Outside banking hours they have their own life and preferences. They want speedy resolution of issues by any union irrespective of political affiliation. If BMS can resolve issues why object?

It must be noted that in the past when CHV met the FM regarding wage revision issues, he also involved D. Raja, a Communist Party leader.

Then what is wrong if BMS is involved?

Furthermore, the FM imposing a deadline for completion of the BPS settlement and monitoring it monthly may have irked leaders who were deciding how BPS should be conducted.

Gradually, members from aibea, ncbe and aiboc are switching to Nobw and Nobo, affiliated to Bms, a nationalist trade union. Now they have presence in all banks. Recently, there was news, that the officers association in IOB, which was affiliated in Aiboc, joined NOBO, enblock. The present ufbe leaders are egoistic and not capable of doing anything, especially to pensioners

 So I feel, soon ufbu will wither away.

If D Raja can interfere in our discussions then what is the problem with BMS unions like NOBW and NOBO.

Communist element is trying to harm the unity of Bank Pensioners in order to take credit. I think it will crack down the interest of Bank Pensioners.

As serving bankers,  we were apolitical in the discharge of our official duties regardless of our personal preferences. We were aghast whenever strike calls were given for causes which had political overtones and had nothing to do with the interests of bankers.

The political outfit with the red banner had dominated our collective bargaining scenario for well over three decades. We do not wish to know what are the compulsions behind this. But what if BMS wishes to enter the scene already populated by AITUC, CITU, INTUC, etc.,? Our concern is resolution of our long standing demand for an equitable pension fornula on par with Government and RBI+misc pensioners with retrospective effect. If federations affliated to BMS can get it, we are grestful.
