It is heartening to note that many charitable organisations in India accept donation of old bicycles, which are reconditioned (if necessary) and distributed among poor students living in villages, who otherwise would have to walk ling distances to attend school.

These organisations are located in Bangalore as well as in Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Pune. For addreeses, phones nos etc, please access http://www.donateinkind.in/bicycle-donation
