Meeting this Friday 31st May? Yes or no.

Hi All, 

Given the Bank Holiday weekend are we having a meeting this coming Friday 31st May? 

Percentage turnout last Friday was low with only sixteen scouts - less than 50%.

We are supposed to be camping the following weekend.

Lads, 

sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I had to ring national office this morning about my garda vetting. I can’t camp until my forms are in the system, and since there is no deputy leader, treasurer or secretary officially registered with national office, only Philip can sign my forms. I was told that someone in the office told the woman I was speaking to that Philip is at the den most evenings and to pop down to see if he’s there. Im going to pop down this evening but I’m away until friday next week so national office have said unless he can sign my form tonight and I get into national office, I can’t go on next weekends camp. Disaster. On top of all of that, I was chatting to my boss about august and the max days I can take then are about 2, annual camp is going to be difficult. I could organise to do a weekend plus the two days I could potentially get off, not sure how the other leader situation is working out, and I’m sorry to spring this on ye, but National Monuments just got back to us this week about our work schedule for the summer and its a very small team this year.
