Workshop 1 – 10h00 - Makeup & Photography:
-Lean the importance of correct makeup applications and why we need them
-Different types of makeup and where they fit into different genres/scenarios
-How to find a proper artist, what to look for and how to collaborate/network with them?
-The biggest makeup errors and how to avoid them in studio
-The photographer’s DIY approach for quick and easy tips on applying makeup and essential list of products to keep in studio
-Retouching and editing makeup in post: do’s and dont’s
-Makeup and styling tips to make your shoots look great
Workshop 2 – 12h00 - Black and white portraiture made easy:
-Why black and white portraiture?
-Seeing and shooting in black and white and what it means?
-The absence of color and what it means?
-The Fuji acros simulations: which one to use when and why?
-How to adjust your f-stop, shutter speed, ISO, contrast, grain, shadow and highlight settings to capture the perfect shot
-Skin tones and makeup in black and white
-natural vs studio lighting to create black and white
-black and white conversion and editing
-the film look and how to achieve it quick and easy
Workshop 3 – 14h00 - Creativity and conceptualising a shoot:
-What is creativity and how do we achieve it in photography?
-Choosing a theme/idea for your shoot
-Referencing and understanding the history of what you are aiming to create
-Mood boards, story boarding, networking with the right team members and putting together an objective
-Location vs Studio
-Subject matter/social or emotional message of your shoot
-Choosing the perfect lighting for your shoot, the importance of color use and props to create a mood
-the importance of using the right makeup artists, hair stylists, stylists and model choices and how to book the right team
-Online magazine submissions and other creative platforms to make use of
