Hi all, I'll be at the brewery around 5:30 or 5:45 this evening. Jonathan and Christopher--I wanted to let you know that you are of similar skill level, and are our first/only non-beginner players at the moment. So, if you two coordinate with each other, you could actually have a good game I think! I always have several club sets available, or bring your own.

Other news--great turnout at Mochi Tsuki last weekend; I volunteered with Seattle Go Center and we taught a *lot* of people. BI Go Club's flyer was out also. SGC was invited back for next year, and we'll definitely piggyback on that again. Teaching is a really great way to solidify the basics for yourself, and SGC has lots of opportunities for that if you're ever interested. I'll be going over to SGC from time to time also, if anyone else would like to carpool--the ferry roundtrip makes the SGC membership cost seem like nothing!

I applied for a teaching starter set from the American Go Foundation (they are the arm that supports teaching Go to kids) and the request was approved. I already received the starter set and will soon be teaching a mini-class for a few weeks at the Odyssey Multi-age Program. Anyone who would like to help teach is welcome! We'll also be on the BISD events boards, and they'll put up posters for us--I'm just investigating whether it's ok for the posters to mention that we meet at an alcohol business or not. I also am talking to Tabletop Enclave about space there--it would be perfect since it's so close to the main meetup location.
