BAS Event: Star Party December 2022

Hi All,

The much awaited announcement of this seasons Star Party is here.
Set for the Christmas weekend which coincides with the New Moon weekend of December 24th 25th and 26th 2022 with optional extension for 27th, under the pristine dark skies of Coorg.

Registrations are open and we have limited capacity at the venue, so hurry up and book a slot soon.
Upon registration, you can start to prepare for the trip - reading about astronomy, preparing to packaging your gear, spending time with Stellarium (or star charts) and understanding constellations in the night sky, preparing observation lists and/or targets to shoot (if you are into AP) etc.
3-4 days before the actual travel, we will share exact location, route maps, to assist you in travel.

Please watch out for carpooling options too. You will be added to a smaller Telegram group for coordination (temporary), in which you discuss further details.
Please do read the instructions in full, as the some guidelines might change. And also to understand the facilities and options available.
Please complete the registration only if you are 100% confirmed of going.

Registrations suspended for Dates 24th and 25th, as we reached max occupancy, but still open for 26th and 27th December.
I will be reopening for the suspended dates, if there are any cancellations.

Hi All,
Registrations for the December Star Party are closed for all the dates, as we have reached accommodation limit.
I may reopen the registrations, if there are any cancellations (unlikely).
Contact me or any of the admins, if you are interested, and I will notify you if there are any cancellations.

Don't need to worry, if you cannot make it for this event, the season is starting now and we will plan on having another star party in January 2023 new moon weekend.
