I am planning to host a driving foxhunt on Saturday, November 9th at 5PM.  We will start from Paseo Vista Rec center (McQueen & Ocotillo), and the transmitter will be within 6 miles. The transmitter will be on 146.400 MHz and will run for 2 hours.  I'll also have a low power transmitter on 146.480MHz near the main one as a bonus fox.

If you are new to transmitter hunting and/or would like to borrow hunting equipment, just let me know.  I’ll be happy to teach you the basics, and will give you hints along the way to get you to the fox within 2 hours.

Please let me know if you plan to attend.

Hope to see you there.

We had an enjoyable driving hunt on Saturday.  Joellene, KK7FYG, hid the transmitter in a large tree in Pecos Ranch Park, and it was found by all hunters.

Thank you to those who participated:
Fred WB4AEJ
Derek KK7TJI & Shannon KK7TJJ
Roger, N0RSR & Claudia

Look forward to another multi transmitter walking hunt hopefully in December.
