Merry Christmas and Feliz Natal to all!

Since we now have more Australians and others from that side of the world, I'm starting this thread a day earlier (because it's already Christmas Eve there).

Please post your Christmas greetings to this thread ONLY. Just hit reply to this email and type your greeting (for those on Digest mode, go out to the web board or forum and find this "Merry Christmas and Feliz Natal" thread and reply to it).

Do NOT start your own thread. Reply ONLY to this one. Some people enjoy sending the greetings and there are others who feel this is off-topic for the list. So please, make it easy for them to delete it.

You may post your greetings until 11:59 YOUR TIME on December 25th. If it's 12 midnight on Dec. 26th, sorry you are too late.

I will continue knitting the recycled plastic bags and trying to keep up with my husband. I just don't have the ability to remember what I have done on my research and most of my friends are no longer doing email either. I will be 82 next month and it is time to just meet each day as it arrives.

I still have my recycled bags, Celeste, thank you. I will be 83 next month and my hubby will be 87 in April and still driving and I just passed the written test and got my new CA license.

Yes, Liz, I do share my way of making the bags. You can also find information on line if you just go to "recycle plastic bags," There are many ways to make the bags, however, the way to cup the bags is the same for all of them.

PS: my grandfather learnt how to use a laptop and Skype at 94 to be in contact with his younger and last living brother in Brazil, his daughter in Lisbon, another daughter in the Azores, a son in Namibia, and another daughter in Belgium, and all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It was a blessing for him over the last 5 years to be close to him family in a new and diferent way, and i know it made a huge difference in his life until his last day in this world.
