Sidenote, Sao Pedro, Vila do Porto, Santa Maria

Bottom left, Manoel, #26.  For the life of me, I can’t seem to read these sidenotes!  Does this say that Manoel Soares ??, widow, in the current year on December ?? married Ana ?? Tavares who is 28 and the daughter of Jose Joaquim d’Andrade and Anna Izabel Tavares?

 

It then goes on to say that his first wife, Angelina de Andrade Tavares passed on the 4^th of the current February? Current February being 1963?  I doubt that I have that right!

 

#3 Manoel died in Sao Pedro on the 7^th of current 1975.

Hi Sam,

1,  The individual in this record named Manuel Soares Coelho, single, married in this (concelho?) on 6 of December of the current year with Angelina de Andrade Tavares, age 28 years, single, daughter of José Joaquim de Andrade and Ana Isabel Tavares, natives of this parish.  Signed, date 6 Dec 193?.  I will guess 1933 but I can't be sure of that last scribbled digit.

2. Passed to widowed status from Angelina de Andrade on 4 of the current in São Pedro, signed and dated 5 June (or July?) 1963.

3 Died in São Pedro on 7 of the current.  Signed, dated 8 Jan 1865 (I'm not certain of the month or year, but that is my best guess)
