1.5.1 beta pushed to play store beta

Hello beta testers,

1.5.1 has been pushed to beta with the pit stop timer, and includes features from 1.4.6 that were missed from 1.5.0.

Pitstop timer?  Makes me want to hookup a usb battery backup to the RCP so we retain that feature when we kill power during fueling.  Maybe worth picking up a cheap one to try it out this weekend.

Wire a small 12V gel cell battery to the other side of a battery isolator and run the RCP off that. The isolator will kick on when the car is running to charge the gel cell again, and you won't mess up your emergency shut off. RCP would stay live during vehicle off time. Downside is you'd loose accurate main battery level info on the RCP but you could always run a simple voltage display for that.

I've actually considered this setup just to keep RCP live to maintain network and GPS connection.

The pit stop timer keeps working even when RCP is turned off, so no need for a separate battery :)

Yeah, I guess it's in the App so it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the RCP running.  How does it detect that you're in the pits?  Speed and location?

This is a simple pit stop timer where it just detects when you've gone below 2mph, it starts timing. Then once you go above 55mph it stops. It's a first pass and we will improve it as we get feedback. This setup requires 0 setup for us and you. 0 pit lane entry/exit setup or firmware updates, which is much more complex.

Looks cool, will test it out this weekend.  Now, to have it put an 'event' into podium marking the pitstop times, that and allowing us to mark which drivers are in the car for each session.
