Happy July 5th to you all.  Hopefully you all had a wonderful and fun July 4th holiday filled with BBQ and explosions :).

AutosportLabs is proud to announce the availabilty of the 2.10.0 Release Candidate 1 firmware.  Over 56+ bug fixes (420+ commits) have gone into this release thus far and more are slated to go in before final release.  However at this point all the major changes are in so its hammer time so to speak.  Some notable improvements are:

* GPS stability is rock solid now due to new DMA support and updated GPS parsing code
* SDCard logging is much improved after some subtle corruption issues were isolated and fixed.
* Distance is now calculated by integrating speed instead of via point to point.
* LUA improvements in method invocation diagnostics and relaxed standards around when we fail
* WiFi support

The WiFi support is present in this build but will be difficult to configure until the app with that functionality is readily available.  Do note that this will use the auxiliary port on MK2 to handle the WiFi device so if you have something operational on that port now this build will cause conflict.

Here is a summary of everything that has been addressed thus far: https://github.com/autosportlabs/RaceCapture-Pro_firmware/issues?page=2&q=is%3Aclosed+is%3Aissue+milestone%3A2.10.0&utf8=%E2%9C%93

Beyond that please load this up and have a go at it and send us your feedback.  If you find issues please do file them here: https://github.com/autosportlabs/RaceCapture-Pro_firmware/issues

Does this effect users with Bluetooth device?  What about AIM to RCP cable?

Am curious if any of you beta testers will be running 2.10 this weekend.  Would love to know.  Cheers.
