Hi Guys,

Is there someone apart of me, with fails within "autopkg"  mail notifications service? After of running the last munkitools update, our notifications are not working anymore. If we run the notification test works fine, but no notifications after of reaching some new update under our schedule parameters.

Can please someone let us know if is a known issue?

Thx in advance, Cheers

Inaky

Hi Inaky,

If you manually remove a package from the ~/Library/AutoPkg/Cache folder, then click "Run Recipes Now" in AutoPkgr's "Repos & Recipes" tab, do you receive notifications for that package being downloaded or built?

If so, then your notifications should be configured properly. You may want to filter your system.log for "AutoPkgr" and see whether the scheduled runs are happening on the schedule you expect.

Elliot

It is failing for me too. It started back in March when I noticed a Keychain error when I did a test email send after I noticed I was not getting automatic emails. I read somewhere to try the AutoPkgr 1.4.1-rc1 to fix the Keychain error which it did. BUT still no emails are sent when AutoPkgr is run at my daily schedule.

I did delete a cached app and the email was sent ONLY when I manually ran "Run Recipes Now" and not on the Scheduled run. I have verified the packages are getting updates. The system.log shows no errors or anything out of the ordinary.

ALSO,  the test email is now missing ALL the body information, only the Subject is there. I am using the "AutoPkgr Emailer" template which was updated 03/11/16. My last successful email received from AutoPkgr was 03/02/16

Elliot,

I owe you a beer, I follower your advise and everything is working fine. The problem was related with the permissions folder, anyway I did that pkg removal, and ran a disk permissions and everything looks to be working again.

Many Thanks,

Cheers

Hi Mark,

Could you try the latest 1.4.1 release candidate?

Thanks,

Th rc4 update fixed the body of the email but still not receiving email when it is scheduled, just manual runs. The report list IS generated with the updates. System logs show no errors during Scheduled run but it does show errors during Manual run from Menu bar link.

See attached log errors.

When automatic emails was still failing under 1.4.1 rc4, I changed the Which Actions triggered notifications from "Report all items" to "Report Some items" and selected all options and I started receiving the automatic emails.
