Hi Henrik,

I've created a block to turn on speaker while on call when the phone is away from my face with proximity sensor. However, "Change your Audio Setting" is greyed out.

I have also checked Automate setting "Privileges" and here too the same thing.

I am using Android 13, Please advise.

That just means it's grated by default and can't be revoked, as the documentation say,
"Even irrevocable privileges (grayed out check mark) are listed so users are able to see them being used by a flow."

What I meant to ask was that I have created the Flow and it also sets the speaker on but the speaker is not turned on. I also used other similar Flows from the community but same result.

I am new to Automate app and recently purchased the premium version as I liked the app. I am facing another issue of "Failed to Start Privileged Service" in another Flow.

Any help would be much appreciated.

As the documentation say,
"If this block doesn’t work when used directly after a call incoming or call outgoing block, try inserting a short delay in between to override any change the phone app does."

Ensure to choose an "Privileged service start method" in Automate settings. See also:

I tried to do something similar and without success. I would greatly appreciate it if you would share your solution after solving the problem.

Seem to work just fine on standard Android 13, e.g. a flow like:
  1. Flow beginning
  2. Call incoming: Proceed=When ringing
  3. Delay: 0.5s
  4. Audio volume set: Volume=100%, Audio stream=Ring, Show volume popup=enabled
  5. (loop back to #2)
Device brand & model?

The flow I referred to was to enable speaker during incoming and outgoing calls using proximity sensor.
