Hi,
When the device (Andr15) is restarted:
a. The QST icon does not appear.
b. It works when clicked.
c. If the device language is changed or the flow is stopped/started, the icon begins to appear.

Thanks.

Try removing the tile, then add it back again. Due to how the Android works, Automate may have lost the knowledge of the tile having being added, this usually occur after an app update.

Device brand & model?

After doing what you said, I restarted the device, but the same error appeared again.

The problem lies elsewhere. Note the explanation in item "c":

If the device language is changed or the flow is stopped/started, the icon begins to appear.
That is, until you restart the device!

(Btw I installed Automate from backup on the newly formatted device, no update.)

Samsung A25, Android15

After various attempts, I found this:
If the QST icon is not visible when the device is restarted, follow these steps:
1) Click QST.
2) Enter the QST panel editing and exit without doing anything by clicking the "Done" button.

Correction:
2) After clicking the pencil icon, click the done button.

Final:
1) Click the QST
2) Click the pencil icon
3) Click the back key (double)

So,  QST > Pencil > Back > Back

Changing system language may cause the system to kill all app, so they can reload the resources like images and texts.
However, that doesn't seem to cause any issues with the Automate QS tiles on my Android 16 device.

So that makes the icon work again?

Exactly! Of course, the process needs to be repeated every time the device is restarted.
By the way, as I mentioned in item 3 of the first email, stopping/starting the flow also solves the problem. I automated this with a flow that runs when the boot is complete.

Do you have the "run on system startup" setting enabled?

Sure!
