Hi Folks,
Ā
Has anyone got any leads on getting CAP-AU files into QGIS?

Thanks for that Andrew but I think its suffering from the same QGIS issue of geojson geometry collections that we have had in the past.
Ā
I am not getting the required amount of points and no polygons

Seems like the old GeoRSS feeds were taken down.

Hi Rae,
Ā
I agree it would be great to get support for this as its now all over the place in emergency management organisations.
Ā
I think the biggest issue is the geometry collections that still donāt work as expected in QGIS. A single event seems to have the ability to have a point, a circle and a polygon of data!

I haven't but be a good project as CAP-AU is being used more broadly now.Ā I like the use of polygon data in a lot of these emergency feeds.

You are a champion! Many thanks
Ā
It seems like each incident would normally have at least one point, a circle (!!) āalert areaā and possibly a polygon,
