Looks like QGIS mobile has come along way, I remember trying to put it on my nexus 7 ages ago but I struggled to get it going.

Not sure how it compares to Intramaps Roam, but promising to see mobile clients being developed for multiple platforms.

Just so people don't get confused.  QGIS Moblie/QField is not the same as QGIS Android.

QField is done by some of the core devs but isn't an official QGIS project (yet).  QField is done in Qt5 using QML which is a lot nicer then just throwing full QGIS on Android, and is a custom application using the API vs QGIS Android which is just the full QGIS slapped on a Android OS.

Roam is currently Windows (well and Linux) only at the moment because of it using Python and PyQt4. I do have plans to make it work on Android once there is a code path to do so but I can't find a good way at the moment.

Whoops - I did think it was the same project, thanks for clearing that up!

However still happy to see development on Android devices (selfishly because that is what we are issued!)
