Wet in Mildura

Mildura has already had its wettest March ever  with 148.8 mm - and data goes back 136 years.... and it is only 2^nd !!

Wow, thanks for that Don.

I created a map earlier highlighting areas which had received more than their annual average rainfall during the 30 days since 1 February. Mildura is at about 60%.

Hi Don.

 

No records broken here but 52mm exactly here. Further south didn't get as much as I did.

 

Chiltern Valley near the Black Dog Creek seems to have had more than the Research station says, as there is a massive feed lot dam there which filled last week and then the amount of cows drinking from it dropped it a foot or so and now it is overflowing and reached the edge of the road.

Grass is very wet and thick all of a sudden. Gunna take some mowing when I can get on it.

 

2 weeks ago it was just a crunchy mess. Wait a difference some rain can make.
