Wet in Sydney

Sydney had its wettest September  day  for 146 years  and its  2^nd wettest since records began with 122 mm of rain to  8am this morning  (144 mm fell on 10 Sept 1879)

After its 3^rd wettest August in the 166 years  of data, it is already  the wettest September for  18 years  and only a third  of the month has passed.

Hi Don.

 

That's a fair dump that's for sure.

 

I was in Wangaratta today and they only had 7mm yesterday and I had 41.2mm here. The forecast was right that it would be in NSW and dipping into Northern Victoria. Wangaratta is only 40km from here.
