2026 officers

• Jim Casto announced the officers voted on at fleet holiday party in December:
• Commodore - Dom Ioime
• Membership - Chris Reuwsaat
• Treasurer - Austin Riggs
• Communications - Leslie Lilly
• Hill Country Race Director - Levi Marconette

Membership Dues

• 2026 dues are due for current members
• Dues were collected in person by new Treasurer, Austin Riggs
• A lack of proper membership list was noted and Austin plans to come up with a solution going forward
• New venmo to be created for official dues collection, look for separate email coming soon

2026 Fleet Meeting Updates

• Chris R proposes deciding on dates for all 2026 meetings
• Group discusses and decides on first Tuesday of each month accepting November (2nd Tues) and December (TBD)
• Group also approves trying new locations for meetings this year.
• Chris R proposes splitting meetings into "members" and "social" sections and group approves. 
• 2026 meetings will focus "meeting" from 7 - 7:30 for officers and interested members (all members are welcome and invited as before) with less official "social" time afterwards.

New Logo and website

• Dylan Spurgin presents new fleet logo and website
• Website is built on WordPress and has events pages, mobile friendly, etc
• Dylan proposes using $100 of club funds to purchase sample hats and burgees based on new logo, which is approved. Samples will be presented at February fleet meeting and a vote for purchase of larger order of merch will be voted on then. Merch will be sold to members / non-members in order to cover costs to club.
• Other merch such as stickers and coozies can be purchased ahead of events, such as Hill Country, using funds appropriated for those events.

Hill Country Regatta Report

• Levi Marconette gives update on Hill Country Regatta progress
• 11 boats registered at time of meeting
• 3 Sponsors in place for raffle items
• Most equipment, including RC boat, chase boats (2), and buoys are accounted for
• Dylan will provide trophies with $200 in budget
• Chris providing tshirts for the event
• Genn discussed food and menu and will be heading up food efforts.
• Pulled pork / chicken volunteers requested or simply donating use of crockpots.
• Fleet is requested to bring desserts
• Terri will provide breakfast tacos

Travellers Presentation

• Jim Casto gave a brief talk on travellers
• History and different types
• Best practice for maintenance

Diam 24s in St Martin

• Phillipe B plugs the annual Diam 24 trip to St Martin
• More folks are invited to join to fill up boats for the regatta
