Do you know of an idea you thought was wrong but was nonetheless interesting? For example, did it:

- clarify your thinking about an issue?
- reveal an implication of an idea you hadn't realized?
- alert you to an entire line of research?

Share it at the meetup! And obsoleted scientific theories definitely qualify! Here's a SlateStarCodex post with some good candidates as well.

(Suggested as a meetup topic in a brainstorming session.)

The meetup is at Central Market, 4001 N. Lamar, in the cafe area. Look for the LW and SSC signs. People start arriving at 1:30 pm, and the main activity will begin at 2:30 pm. Whatever the signs at the store say regarding masks ... please do that.
