I think given the large volume of new residents to move into the
area before the end of the decade, I'd expect some movement,
though not necessarily a freeway. The viability of getting over
the river and up the mountain was an issue, but given all the new
housing estates going in, and Richmond Rd at or beyond capacity
west of Marsden Park, something will need to be done soon

I didn't know there was an alternative corridor but I do remember
a river crossing using a curve before it tied in with Bells Line
of Rd

The reservation east of the river is already in place. Runs along the northern edge of Willmot and Lethbridge Park
The original termination point was The Driftway, but I don't
believe there was a reservation there.
