Coffs bypass signage plans

Hi folks,

Just wondering if there are any signage plans for the Coffs bypass out there? I know for previous projects there have been. I just haven’t been able to find any.

Neither have I on the document page. Or for that matter on the Hexham bypass. Hopefully they have been done right but once both projects open we will see what inevitably they could have done better.

Maybe for projects like this they should hire one of us as a consultant to check whether there is anything wrong with their signage plans.  I would be more than happy to help, especially because I'm a Queenslander, and as we all know, if there was a State of Origin series for signage, the Blues would flog us!  I'm only joking of course.

From what I've seen so far at the Coffs Harbour bypass and projects in the Newcastle area, the signage is good. 

It would be ironic if whoever does the signage just sees it as a job they got stuck with and don't care any more than they're paid to. Sam could probably tell us more about how the sign design works. Even though the Carnley Ave AD he designed looked good to me, GSV shows it got replaced with a slightly different one.
