This is good news. I understand at the border there is a very short section that did not get done because of heritage concerns and will be completed in the next stage. Hopefully further investment comes to finish the duplication. 2030 would be achievable.

Great news!

I couldn't find any information about the speed limit, though: is it 100 km/h or 110 km/h?

It's one lane each way at 80km/h until late 2023/early 2024 while the existing carriageway is resealed.

Which section at the border is not yet complete? I wonder if ACT will do any works on their side where the highway goes to one lane at a few different intersections as it heads towards Northbourne Ave

oh yes, i meant the ultimate limit will be 100 not 110.

it is in the community update, from previous updates it was because of a heritage concern with the alignment so could not be duplicated as originally intended.
" A temporary tie-in has been built while the permanent solution has been progressed. We expect the permanent solution will be built around the same time as the second stage of duplication."
