Good to see Evening Grosbeaks popping up in some places around here. I haven't heard of any settling into a feeder in Kennebec Co., but there is a place in Orono where they have. Email me if you'd like directions there.
From eBird, it looks like the Redpolls and the Bohemian Waxwings generally haven't made it south of the St. Lawrence River yet. Hopefully they'll keep heading south as the winter progresses. Pine Grosbeaks and more Siskins may arrive as well. The Augusta Christmas Bird Count on Dec. 20th should tell us a lot about how many winter finches and friends are around.
