hi! I am in a process of doing my thesis, is this app compatible with the Samsung A15? I am planning to use this app to measure the rt60 of the classrooms.

If you see AudioTool in the Play Store when looking on your A15 then it will be compatible.

I'm kind of confused a little bit about the rt60 feature, we tried to test the app's Leq spectogram to a Nti XL2 SLM which is kind of the same (if the XL2 produces a sound of 50 Hz then the app's Hz also ranges to 49-52 Hz) but on the rt60 measurement it fails to meet the near/actual results of the XL2. To ensure our data aligns as much as possible which decay range should I aim? the 0-10db? or the 5-20 db? also would you add a feature for a calibration of the app's rt60?

I'm not sure I understand: are you trying to measure RT60 with a 50Hz tone? That doesn't sound very useful to me, but I am not an expert.

The 0-10 and 5-20 RT60 values are described in the manual Bofinit Corporation - AudioTool - Online Manual

Technical notes: the RT60 uses a Schroeder integral to work backwards from the noise floor to the detected peak intensity. The Schroeder integral is shown as a red trace on the RT60 display. The RT Early number is the time for the intensity to drop from the peak to 10dB below the peak, multiplied by 6. The 15-20 number is the time for the intensity to drop from 5dB below the peak to 20dB below the peak, multiplied by 4.
