Does the online solving service of astrometry.net have usage limits?

Hello all developers of Astrometry

I am currently building an astronomy-related application that integrates the parsing capabilities of astrometry.net. Since this app is designed for global users, it will likely generate a large volume of requests to the astrometry.net API.

Right now, I am using the API key linked to my personal Astrometry account for all API calls. I would like to check if this heavy usage will result in request limits being applied to my account.

Hi,

We use a "fair queuing" method - when there are jobs waiting to run, we choose randomly between the _users_ who have jobs waiting.  So you won't hit limits, but you may find that it slows down.

Is there anyway you can integrate your application with a local version of Astrometry?  MUCH faster (typically seconds versus minutes) and any usage limits would be at your end.
