How do I unclutter the markings in my annotated upload

When I upload a file sometimes I get an overcrowded annotation like the one in the picture below. I just wanted to annotate the Leo Triplet and a couple of reference stars nearby. It is virtually impossible to read this image file below. Also, I am unable to expand the view to 'full size' in some pictures (like this one) where the image is of a low resolution (due to crop).

Ah yes, that is a very ugly annotation!

The web site doesn't have any controls for the annotations, and it just decides which catalogs to plot based on the angular size of your image --

If you have the code on your own computer, you can try using the "plotann.py" script to produce custom annotations.
