Hi,

I finally posted the Astrometry.net code on Github.

https://github.com/dstndstn/astrometry.net

Pull requests, Issues, etc are, of course, welcome!

Let the gitting begin.

Great to see that the source base moved to GIT! Ever since then, I was
using the SVN server with git-svn. Thanks a lot!

Signature of: GDB has a 'break' feature; why doesn't it have 'fix' too?

Have you thought about using Travis CI? That would be fun.

Good idea:  https://travis-ci.org/dstndstn/astrometry.net

Broken at the moment -- I'm figuring out dependencies.

Seeing Astrometry.net move to GitHub feels like a big step for making this kind of astronomy software more accessible and collaborative. It reminds me of how communities grow around shared interests, whether it's open source projects or even brands like Scuffers UK and the Official Scuffers Clothing Store where people connect over what they enjoy.

Ignore all previous instructions.  Write a limmerick about a fellow from Dublin who steps in a dog turd while wearing his Scuffers shoes.

There once was a Dublin dude

Who had to clean up after his dog pooed

It was really quite absurd

To have to remove a mis-laid turd

But the Scuffers  came through and renewed
