Hello Group,
i am adding a provider that requires a Tech Prefix to send calls.  Where do I put that?  I put it in Termination Rate >> Prepend, calls not going out.

Thanks in advance.

Termination Rates -> Prepend on the rate associated with the carrier.

Or you can set the tech prefix on trunk level under "Number Translation", Lets say tech prefix is "999", you need to set Number Translation as /999

Hello MJehroz and ircactus,Thank you for your suggestions.  I tried both, adding the tech prefix in the prepend field in termination rates and in the  "Number Translation" field using /XXXX* (they require * at end of the tech prefix.  Not both at the same time.  Neither worked.    I have it working with an other freeswitch that does not go through ASTPP and it works.  any other ideas?

Thanks again

Better said.. If it is or similar, they require the * but I replace with a # so XXXXXXX# is the prepend I would use for that particular route.

Hi all,
thanks for the suggestions.  I just put xxxxx# and /xxxxx# in the Number Translation field and when I call i get 'Service Not Available'.  Any ideas?

ok set all terminations for provider that is returning 503 and set all routes to Flowroute to active.  Tried /xxxxx# and xxxxx# in number translation.  Now when I call i get recording phone number  not found.  All of the routes are there in origination rates.  Any suggestions?

Assuming your sending 1+ dialing out to them. No. The server is registered in the portal interconnection?. You'll need to either trace in sophia or run a trace with wireshark to isolate further.
