I noticed that max concurrent calls set for a customer is only regulating outbound calls. Inbound calls are not checked and pretty much have unlimited channels unless a limit is set on the DID itself.

I find it more useful to have the max concurrent call set at customer level to regulate both inbound and outbound calls. From my understanding, code was put in to address this, see here: https://github.com/iNextrix/ASTPP/issues/383

However, I am unable to find the appropriate settings to make this happen on my 3.6 install. Please let me know if this is something still pending or if I am not looking in the correct place to begin with.

Hello Joseph,

By default, CC limit is applicable to inbound + outound calls.
So if you are making X calls by registering any device from 'this' account and IP from which you are sending Y calls is binding with 'this' account.
And 'this' account is having 5 CC limit then X + Y must be less then 5 or the wont pass through.

Hi Devang,

Unfortunately, that is not the case. It will work with outgoing calls, but with incoming calls, even if I set it to 1 call as the limit, I am able to pass through multiple inbound calls. without any rejections.

Hi Joseph,
Have you checked account associated with incoming DID setting. Is it the same account where you bind cc limit?

Yes, and I just double checked and double tested now too

Did anybody ever find a resolution to this?
