post paid billing date

[ASTPP]

hello all

greetings from me. i just have one quick question to members. i am planning to start a postpaid service from my ASTPP. but i can't understand the billing method.

in my astpp customer profile i found this

by monthly i understand its makes monthly invoice. but what mean by billing day 28?

is it means since the account created the invoice will be generate after 28 days?

please someone reply my thread with some right answer. may be someone with real experience can explain the things briefly.

also one other question.

lets say the customer invoice date 24/01/2021

and he start a call at 11.55PM on 23/01/2021 but the call last for 20 mins and finished at 00:15AM and system runs the cron at 00.05AM and that time the call was still running. so is that means that , that call will be billed following month invoice? as the call was not hanged up at all when system was generating the invoice.

same also i found that in DID numbers thing.. it has 1 time or Recurring. and if i select recurring its show me the box for billing days.

very confused.

I too am looking for this answer. It doesn't make sense to bill after x amount of days vs on the same day every month.

In the ASTPP we are generating the Invoices on monthly basis. If you set the invoice date 5th in billing day then every 5th of the month Invoice will be generated.

also one other question.

For this scenario, we didn't face any issues. If you face in future then you can raise it in below link.

We are giving that option for the recurring days. If you want to recurring the DID on every 15 days then you can set 15 days there.

What if we want to bill the DID every month on the 15th of the month or even on the first of the month?

Currently, Prorate billing is not available in ASTPP. We are planning to give it in our next version.
