I'd like to add "t38-passthru" to the sip profile but, unlike bypass-media, this one isn't in the GUI. Is there somewhere in the database, or in a text configuration file I can put it to apply it to a particular profile?

Thanks!
Andy

It appears that I was able to make T.38 work properly using the default settings. The re-invite was properly passed to the upstream carrier, who accepted it, and the call continued as T.38.

Awesome.

Andy,

Did you have to change anything in the profiles, etc., to get this working?  I'm trying to do this as well, and the call gets connected but when ASTPP/FreeSWITCH gets the T.38 re-invite it doesn't pass it on to the other call leg.  Was there maybe another setting you changed since you didn't have to add t38-passthru, like the bypass-media setting?

Thanks,
Nate

Nevermind, once I added the parameter t38-passthru=true to the profile it worked fine.  I was adding t38_passthru like I saw in other documents, and that is the global parameter not the profile parameter.

hello.
if understood, you have set t38-passthru=true into the profile then you clicked rescan then reload and it works?
