Hi all,

I've seen a similar situation in Jamulus a year ago and am very happy that project is continuing.

Our digital-stage.org started at the beginning of lockdown as hackathon project and is still very active with a few people developing a complete web+video+raspi+pc/mac solution. I started a forum for all Network Live Music tools and projects on https://forum.digital-stage.org/c/english/9 and even offered it to all projects as their support forum, because we want to be open, as a non-profit gGmbH. Our goal is to enable musicians and artists interacting live together, similar to you.

Thanks for the discussion.

I think the main point of my newsletter was that I’ve done all I can do to enable. It’s time now for the community to actually step up.

It seems you too have put in much effort in hopes of simply seeing a future music practice blossom.

One scenario is to get in the wait-mode line: wait until Facebook, Apple or Spotify creates the magic button to join a band and broadcast live concerts in the metaverse.

Sounds good! They will then own all your data and a good chunk of your IP. They will also sell the ads and get a cut of all the ticket and payment revenue.

Another scenario is a big push into blockchain and decentralized collaboration and broadcasting. 

I hope to move Artsmesh onto W3 and blockchain for an advanced environment to work in.

Sounds good! What?

We need either a broad artsmesh crowd sourced fund raiser to significantly update Artsmesh - and someone experienced to step up and organize.

OR, a significant benefactor, as Detao China was for us in the beginning.
