Hello,
I am contacting you to talk about the Cookie Demoparty, and so to invite you to this event on November 30 and December 1 in Paris!

This festival invites visitors to explore real-time digital art. It is historically derived from the demoscene, art movement focused on the production of animations generated in real-time on computers, which is a challenge both technically and aesthetically. Artists will present their production in competition, submitted to public votes.
But the festival aims to bring together other communities of digital creation. Performances will take place, where sound and visuals will be created live. Machinimas, animations created thanks to customized video games, will be presented. Playful installations will invite visitors to experiment with games outside of the screen. Finally, during speedruns, players will finish video games in record time by using tricks or even bugs.

Friday, November 30:
Tournament of visual live coding (selections);
Concerts & sound and visual performances.
Saturday, December 1:
Workshops (live sound coding, glitch art);
Speedruns;
Tournament of visual live coding (semi-finals and final);
Projection of the demoscene competitions and prize giving ceremony;
Concerts & audio-visual performances.
And during the whole festival:
Videos (demoshows, documentaries, machinimas, etc.);
A room dedicated to the programming of lasers;
Video games and playful installations.

The festival will take place at La Folie Numérique, a participative and collaborative artistic creation space on Parc de la Villette in Paris dedicated to digital arts.
