Was just treated to 2 Bluebirds in my backyard in Woburn. I was talking with mom in the phone and caught a flash of blue and clearly could tell they were not jays.

Good thing mom understands when I say I have to go. I need to grab my binoculars cuz I see a bird. I’ll call you back

We had a surprising robin as well today, It’s chest looked very orange against the white snow backdrop.

I saw a flock of robins (about 10 or so) this past week. No bluebirds, but my MIL in central Mass. has been seeing them.

I saw my first robin yesterday too! It gave me hope. The organize breast looked particularly intense and beautiful!

I added a suet block from market basket that has mealy bugs and I am seeing a flock of blue birds and Carolina wrens at the feeder regularly now. A robin stopped by once only. Cheers

Robins could migrate, or stay in the same place year round. Or these could be robins from further north that flew down here.
