Hello,
I want to manually overlay dem, soil, landuse, and slope in order to create a shapefile for the HRUs.
Can anybody give me some instructions about what should I do?
The Overlay toolbox in Arcmap has different methods, and I don't know which one is better to use.
Thanks in advance.

I don't do these operations very often, so this may not be the best way.  But I would convert the layers to grids, then overlay the grids using the "combine" function (I think), which gives you a new grid with values corresponding to unique combinations of the 3 input grids (land use, soils, and slope class).  This grid would correspond to your HRUs only if you set the HRU-definition thresholds to zero.
